HOLY JUMPS BATMAN!
it was certainly a new experience for me to go down the trails of super park and stand above every feature thinking what I usually only get to think once a year; "I know the speed, I know its fast, but I've got this..." Having to psyche myself up for every jump was a great feeling, I finally have gotten comfortable hitting jumps that i haven't gotten comfortable on yet. Each jump had a different shape and something unique about it that i had never ridden before. My favorite jump was the second biggest one at super park, it was about 80 feet to the knuckle and close to 95 to the sweet spot. At first i sent a few straight airs and then some back threes, back sevens and eventually a back ten on it the ten i landed second try and I couldn't have been more stoked. Throughout the week I hit every feature created for super park and I can honestly say it was the most intimidating park i have ever been to. There were hips and big jumps and wall rides and big drop rails and cannon step ups and cliff drop step downs and everything else u could think of. one of the best weeks of shredding i have ever had and I managed to stay in one piece the whole week, only a few hairy moments scattered here and there. I had a great time and saw a great deal of old friends out killing it on ever feature. Yale, Luke, Ian, Eric, Jeff, Tarjei, Collin, Adam, Aaron, Jeremy, Trip, Pete, Forest, Riley and so many more people who I have seen all year showed up and threw down. it was a killer week on all fronts.
Thanks again to Pat Bridges for the Invite. Hopefully i will find some videos or photos with me in em to post here very soon. Until then this shot from my GoPro should suffice.
