ColoRADo

Well I made it to Breckenridge then took a quick nap to catch up on sleep. I woke up round 6pm and drove down to the Snowboard Colorado relaese party with the premiere of Flow Snowboarding's "Was Here" and a late night very drunken performance by the one and only Dirt Nasty! After tossing back beer after beer after free beer, and dancing my ass off, me and my buddy Ryan Dee headed back to a friends place to crash for the night. Dee accompanied me to this party under the title of "#1 Wing Man of all time"

Anyway, woke up round 7:30 am and drove up to Breck to drop off Dee, there was a major traffic jam due to an exploded truck but it was over in a quick 2 HOURS!... finally made it up to the top and dropped Dee off at Breck then drove to 'the Stone' for some shred around noon. Great day of riding and the season is going full force now. Going to try to ride 5 days a week every week until spring from now on. Life is a mission :)

Ogden, UT

Said goodbye to Tahoe and the people that live there this morning and hopped in my car with all my worldlies headed east. I found myself going 80mph on 80 east for 8 hours only had to make one stop cus my suby gets about 30mpg even when fully loaded with gear. Its a funny thing how road trips seem to be the divider wall on the cubical segments of my life. I expect new chapters to start every time I sit in my car for more than 4 hrs. If you're like me then you know this cant be a bad thing at all. its always about an opportunity to get to the next stage, progressing in life so to speak.

I have been to UT 3 times before but this is the first time I have been here alone. and then when I get here I am welcomed into a house with 6 other people who live for snowboarding just like me. I have only met one of these Wasatch Project members before and he is the one who convinced me to join the program for the season. Dustin Linker heads this operation and i have to say I love what he's done with the place... literally remodeling this house as we speak and figuratively remodeling young snowboard stars careers. Thanks for having me Dustin, I am stoked for the start of an awesome season!

Stay tuned for opening day at Keystone, CO on Friday!
