Made it.

long drive, Canada was hot and sticky, had a lot of fun at Yellowstone, saw Devils Tower, A huge herd of Bison, Mt Rushmore, Elsworth airforce base, Niagara falls, a Grizzly bear, the Tetons, an old friend, Chicago and over 200 pa-diddles. I also saw a friend and gained a passenger in Wisconsin (Never though that would happen), Opened SEVERAL beers, ate some steak, went up a tower (for free), revolved a few times then descended a tower, saw a movie, ate some ice cream, rode the Maid of the Mist and walked into America, took a photo and walked back to Canada. some good shit, alot happened in 7 days. its was a straight shot from tahoe to yellowstone, took 15 hrs overnight starting at 5 pm. Arriving for sunrise in The Tetons, I was not going to let myself sleep till sundown. I saw the park all day after being awake for 24hrs when I arrived there at 8am. That means by the time it was sundown I was awake for 35hrs. I was pooped.

Anyway, I drove pretty hard to get to my buddy joel (western South Dakota) the next day. Saw Rushmore, a bar with a nightclub downstairs (didn't think I'd see that in SD), the bottom of a lot of beers/Mixed drinks, the floor of joel's room. Woke up and headed for Wisconsin, short story, I got there (not much happened in between). I arrive at Kaila's and hug Cheyanne for the first time in what seemed to be a great while. The next morning we left Kailas in a hurry to get to Chris in Guelph, Ontario. I was a fairly scenic drive, some cool examples of stunning Architecture and Engineering in Chicago. and a decent view of the great lakes. we got into Canada during the day light but didnt have much for our drive, we got to Guelph at 10pm and stayed for two days with Chris saw some new people, played beach volleyball, had a good meal, and had a good friend there the whole time, well 2 really. Then we headed to Niagara and spent 1 day and 1 morning exploring the various attractions at the falls, then made our way to Massachusetts where the Sawyer family was kind enough to treat me to a great meal and great atmosphere.

The last day of my drive was my birthday; June 3rd. I made it home in 5 hrs from Cheyanne's house in time for birthday dinner at longhorn with my madre, my aunt and my brother. A good Journey It was, full of life, energy and passion. It was not as I expected, but then again, it never is. Road trips are fun, they are eye opening but theres something about sitting in a car for 12 hrs a day 5 days a week just sucks. It is because of this I have made a huge life decision: ladies and Gentlemen, I have decided to NEVER BE A CROSS COUNTRY TRUCKER...

...I know shocking right?
